This performing group is the third band. When marching season is completed, section rehearsals will begin. A section rehearsal will occur once a week after school, and will last one hour.

Auditions for Concert Band I will be held each spring. A supplementary audition may be held during the 1st semester for the 2nd semester membership. Auditions are based on the following criteria:

• report card grades
• behavior and attitude
• practice habits
• UIL prescribed instrumentation
• band rehearsal/ performance attendance
• tryout music performance
