This performing group is for the more advanced student who exhibits a superior attitude
and competency as a musician.
When marching season is completed, section rehearsals will begin. A section rehearsal will
occur once a week after school, and lasts one hour.
Auditions for Wind Symphony will be held each spring. A supplementary audition may be held
during the 1st semester for the 2nd semester membership.
Auditions are based on the following criteria:
- Report card grades
- Behavior and attitude
- Practice habits
- UIL prescribed instrumentation
- Band rehearsal/performance attendance
- Tryout music performance
